Yoga nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is a state between wake and sleep. It focuses on resting the body to allow the consciousness to be witnessed, being guided through a gentle relaxation throughout the body, syncing deeper into yourself. Practicing 45 minutes of yoga nidra is also equivalent to getting 3-to-4 hours of sleep.
